HAWAIIAN LOMI LOMI MASSAGE
A Lomi Lomi massage commences with a stillness between the practitioner and client. The practitioner will quietly say a blessing or prayer asking for whatever healing is needed to take place during the massage. Also the client may be asked to set their intention for any healing they would like to receive. The practitioner then works very intuitively with the client, so no two massages will ever be identical. Some people have described this as feeling like gentle waves moving over the body. Lomi Lomi, “Loving Hands” massage, works gentle yet deeply into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes, totally nurturing the body and, enabling the recipient to relax, give in and simply be.
This treatments focus is exclusively on the feet. Our feet are the most negative pole of the body–where energy is most dense and tends to become blocked. Working on the feet frees up stagnant energy, allowing it to be released, flowing freely throughout the body. Through skillful manipulation of pressure points on the soles of the feet , Reflexology provides a map of the entire body and organs, encouraging the body to restore its own natural healthy balance.

Geriatric massage provides real, palpable benefits taking age-related health conditions into account. As we age, our bodies change. Muscles, skin, bones, and circulation lose vitality and function. This type of senior massage helps to soften muscle tissue by increasing blood flow, ultimately reducing overall muscle tension. Geriatric therapy will frequently be lighter in pressure to accommodate physical changes occurring in the skin and muscles, but is no less of a “deep” experience. Understanding the complexities of these physiological changes requires academic knowledge and technical skills that go beyond what is usually expected from Massage Therapists. Our highly qualified geriatric specialist, will customize a treatment protocol for your specific needs.
