After facing a life-changing moment at 19, suffering from a severe spinal injury and paralysis, Krysta healed herself with raw food, understanding the power of beliefs and studying the mind-body connection through a variety of healing modalities, trainings and life long world wide education. Krysta has studied with many different spiritual teachers and has become immersed in discovering and accessing human potential and designing centers with access to long- term, sustainable mind-body-spirit health and healing.

While overseeing operations, Ricky is continuously looking to improve all aspects of the experience here at Bhavana. With love for the act of service to humanity, Passion for attention to detail, and dedication in cultivating a healing space for the community, he is on a mission to sustain Bhavana’s vision to last forever. Also as a practitioner in his Bodywork practice, he wishes to share with as many people as possible. Ricky utilizes his background in Hawaiian Bodywork, Thai Massage and Energy Medicine, working with clients in a pursuit of union with their physical/emotional/energetic bodies.

Mark Gerardi is the founder of the Cornerstone Energy Healers certification program. A gifted teacher and powerful energy healer, Mark specializes in pain relief and distance healing. Over the last 25 years Mark has practiced and taught martial arts, meditation & qigong. His formal education in healing has included Shiatsu Acupressure, Herbalism, Kinetic Chain Release (KCR), Medical Qigong and master certifications in multiple styles of Reiki.
Lori Thayer, Ph.D.
Lori began studying energy healing and reiki in the mid-1990s and studied Introspective Hypnosis with Antonio Sangio and Alba Weinman. She received her initiation as a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master from the Shekinah Center in Easthampton, Massachusetts in 2001; followed by her initiation in 4th degree Shambhala Multidimensional Healing and Seraphic Energy Healing. In 2009, Lori received her Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, following the completion of The Adoption of Shamanic Healing into the Biomedical Health Care System in the United States.
Kelly has been practicing professionally since 2001, integrating multiple modalities to create internal balance and nurture multidimensional health. Her skill and passion is in teaching her students and clients how to access the wisdom held in the body and purify the mind to live a radiant, conscious life.
Lucca DAleo graduated from College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor Maine in 2014. Upon completion she returned to NY where she studied at The Finger Lakes School of Massage, fulfilling her dream of becoming a massage therapist. The beauty of the ocean and the small communities of Maine drew her back to this state where she has been practicing body work for over three years. Her focus lie in Swedish and deep tissue, but her passion for bodywork promotes new learning and growth in her practice.
Tania brings over 15 years facilitating groups and individuals in breath embodiment as a Breathwork & Reiki practitioner, Yoga teacher and Somatic Breath Therapist. Tania’s unique ability as a healing practitioner is enhanced by her grounded, calm presence and her personal commitment to finding peace in her own life. Her classes and client sessions offer professional expertise in the field of Integrative Breathwork (sometimes referred to as Transformational, Holotropic or Re-Birthing Breathwork) as well as Somatic Breath Therapy- an alternative form of treatment for stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma history.
Carrie has been an occupational therapist for 30+ years and yoga teacher for 10+ years. She combines her medical training with yogic philosophy to balance body, mind, and spirit. She is passionate about making yoga accessible to anyone, using her skills as an occupational therapist to adapt yoga with people who otherwise might not have tried it and with those who want to modify or develop a home practice for optimal health. Her services can often be billed to your insurance as OT treatment with a referral from your health care provider.
As a massage therapist, Jonathan has developed a unique type of treatment known as Range of Motion Myofascial Release by drawing on multiple massage styles and healing modalities. Using acute listening skills honed through craniosacral therapy and Barnes-style myofascial technique along with passive range of motion, Chinese Tuina massage and an ever-growing understanding of the physical and energetic landscape of the body, he is able to facilitate a broad depth of healing during each session.
As an acupuncturist, Jonathan looks forward to deepening his skills as a therapist by using associated treatment techniques (needles, cupping, gua sha, tuina massage, Chinese herbal formulation and Dietetics, Qi Gong) as tools to help guide his clients towards a healthy state of balance, both internally and externally.
Noeun (pronounced new-in)
Noeun graduated from Aveda Institute with honors specializing in gel, shellac, dip, acrylic, sculpture nails and nail art. She loves doing manicures and pedicures while providing an enjoyable and relaxing experience. At age 29 Noeun was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and has been in remission for the last 5 years. This experience has made Noeun very passionate about health, fitness and family.
